CASE SIZE & CONSTRUCTION Base=7 1/4", Height=10 1/8", Depth=4" Pine case, original veneer may have been stripped off and pine refinished.
LABEL INFORMATION
Has the original label inside which depicts the American Eagle, no makers name. DIAL INFORMATION
Replacement paper dial on original tin dial pan. Will be restored to original condition at a later date. Dial has a 5 3/4" chapter ring. MISC. FEATURES N/A
ACQUIRED FROM Public estate auction held in Keller, Tx. Sale was for items in the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Hamby who were the owners of the Antique House. CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED
Image at top of page is the clock in the condition it was acquired. The case is in poor condition and will need to be completely re-veneered. The movement appears to be in good condition, but part of the alarm train and gong are missing.
RESTORATION N/A HISTORICAL DATA
Unknown maker, case and movement plates do not appear to have any manufacture name or marks on them. The clock appears to be American made, but further research is needed. REFERENCES N/A NOTES This was the first public estate auction we have been to in quite some time, as they are fairly rare where we live.
