Type 5.111, Wood movement, weight driven, 30-hour, T&S, hour strike on bell. Movement maker believed to be Jerome and Darrow. Back plate of movement serves as part of the back of case. CASE SIZE & CONSTRUCTION
Base = 16 ½", Height = 28 ¾", Depth = 4" LABEL INFORMATION No label - Original paper label missing, part of backboard is covered with an old newspaper, but unable to determine the date. DIAL INFORMATION

Original 11 1/2" x 12"" wood dial, white painted background with floral spandrels and center, gilt borders around spandrels. Black Arabic numerals. Dial glass appears to be original and is 11" x 11" and secured in place with putty. Dial has a 10" chapter ring. MISC. FEATURES

Reverse glass painting is an early reproduction, and is 11" x 7 1/4" . Tablet is secured in place with two wood strips. Case has claw front feet. Quarter columns on both sides of case are 20 3/4" in length. ACQUIRED FROM Antique auction at "Klienfelter's Auction House" in Lebanon, PA.. CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED Not running, case in good condition. RESTORATION December 1991 - Cleaned movement, set clock to running. HISTORICAL DATA Movement made by Jerome and Darrow.
