"Ansonia Dog Clock Topper"

This item is a Clock Topper depicting a pointer. It was manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. and is stamped with the makers name on the bottom. It is made of spelter and has a gilt wash. This topper is listed in the 1901 Ansonia Clock Co. catalog as No. 1037, Height 6 1/2", finished in Japanese Bronze and sold for $4.50.

This item is a Clock Topper depicting an Irish Setter. The manufacture is unknown as there are no markings. It is made of spelter and has a gilt wash. 1900-1910 "Original Ogee Tablet"

This item is a Grandfather's Clock Song and Chorus book from 1878. It was published by Oliver Ditson & Co., 449 & 451 Washing Street, Boston, MA. It includes the musical score and words for this song which was written by Henry C. Work. This song is the main reason that we in America call Tall Case clocks "Grandfather Clocks". This song was very popular, in fact, the book proclaims "Most Popular Song in America" at the time. This is a mirrored advertising grandfather clock thermometer. The thermometer is in working condition and is 10" long by 3 1/4" wide. The advertising is for "Meuller-Vickery / O.K. Rubber Welders / Hiawatha, Kansas". I'm guessing at the date of this thermometer as I have been unable to find any information on this company. 1960-1970 Banjo Clock Thermometer

This is a mirrored banjo clock thermometer / barometer with the following saying printed on the bottom: "May This Banjo Clock Mirror Bring You Good Fortune Forever and Ever Thru Life's Golden Era" The banjo clock is printed on the mirror, and the gilt decorations are done in reverse on the outer glass.
It is 8" high by 3 1/2" wide.

This is another advertising thermometer in the shape of a Grandfather Clock. It is 4 3/4" wide by 9 3/4" high. The advertising is for "J. M. FRESHWATER FUNERAL HOME AMBULANCE SERVICE - PHONE 2101 - NORTH LEWISBURG, O." 1940-1950 "American Clockmakers Linen Towel"

This is another Stevens Linen, Inc. clockmakers linen tea towel. It was produced by the Stevens Linen Assoc., Inc. in Webster, MA. (RN-15424). It is 17" x 28", and is in new condition with the original tag still attached. It depicts different styles of early American clocks along with the names of many prominent clockmakers.
