Dr. Snowden Taylor's Terry Type 30 Hour Wooden Movement ID Spreadsheet
Dr. Snowden Taylor authored an excellent guide to identifying the various wooden movements used in American shelf clocks in NAWCC Bulletin #208 (Oct. 1980). This spreadsheet is an attempt to put that knowledge into a format that can be used from a PC with Microsoft Excel installed. It is still in the experimental stages, and the data is not complete yet, but give it a try. I have added some additional unpublished updates provided by Mr. Taylor, but a few more holes need to be filled.
The spreadsheet was created and published here with permission from Mr. Taylor, and I hope that his digitized knowledge may be of use to other NAWCC members who do not have access to NAWCC bulletin #208. After clicking on the link below, open the document and follow the instructions found when you move your mouse over "Start" in the upper left corner.
