Welcome

-

----My name is Michelle Sauer. I am not a kennel breeder nor do I show, I am one that loves my Chihuahuas and has decided to breed them as a hobby. Research of the Chihuahua and the experience with my own, gave me the knowledge and confidence that I needed in order to breed.
----In 2003 my family adopted our first Chihuahua. At the time we had an eleven year old cocker spaniel that we had had since a pup. Shelby (the cocker spaniel) was not well, and we knew that her time with us was limited. With this in mind, we thought of adding another canine to our family. We loved all types but preferred a small breed. A close friend of mine had a litter of Chihuahuas. I contemplated for many weeks whether a Chihuahua could fill the emptiness in our heart that would soon come with the lose of Shelby. After spending time with her Chi’s and her sharing her knowledge of them, I decided a Chihuahua would make us a wonderful companion. Baby became a part of our family during our 2003 summer vacation. Shelby adjusted well to Baby and Baby was great with her. They would snuggle together and Baby would even clean Shelby. I was very pleased that both were enjoying each others company. The following summer brought us with the thought of adding another Chihuahua to our family. This time a male. We returned home from our summer vacation in 2oo4 with Jake. Jake felt extremely comfortable with both Baby and Shelby. Jake was able to provide Baby a playmate, whereas Shelby could no longer. Eight months later Shelby passed away. Our broken hearts slowly healed thanks to the love and enjoyment our Chihuahuas brought us. That summer (2005), I began to have the “itch” for another Chihuahua. Again we returned from our summer vacation with another. Tia too, adjusted very well to her new home and family. Baby treated Tia as if she was one of her pups and Jake had another playmate.

----Our three Chihuahuas are part of our family and are treated as so. My husband and I have two young boys that absolutely adore them. Baby sleeps with me and Jake occasionally sleeps with my oldest son. Tia is still training so sleeps in a crate next to my bed. The Chihuahuas are well socialized and are exposed to many children on a regular basis.
