Who is Pine Tree Trains?
Pine Tree Trains is operated by Michael Millett, an HO Scale model railroad enthusiast in Hermon, Maine, near the junction
of the Montreal, Maine, and Atlantic (MMA) and Guilford Rail Systems (GRS).
With many years in modeling HO trains, Pine Tree Trains is a means to reach out to other HO modelers through the net.
I have been making custom built / painted / decaled locomotives and rolling stock for a southern Maine model shop for
several years and would like to expaned this service to other HO modelers outside the Maine area. It is also a
great way to share my modeling experiences / successes / failures with others and visa-versa. There is always something
to learn in this hobby!
Though I have an affinity and specialty in New England and Canadian railways, I am always interested in working
on ANY road. Favorite rails include BAR, Guilford Rail, BM, CN, CP, and some other lesser known lines
like Ontario Northland.
Services Available
- Custom painting for any locomotive or piece of rolling stock, I provide or you provide, including assembly services.
I have access to a multitude of decals or you can provide your own.
- Custom fabrication and modification services
- Lighting installation, including ditch lights, flashers, etc.
- DCC installation
I welcome you to take a look at the photos on this site. These are a portion of my own personal collection and items
that have been made for others. There isn't enough website storage for photos of all my stuff, but you
can get the idea. I take each project individually and give it the attention it deserves.
