Professional Dog Handling

                Lisa Knock is an accomplished dog handler whose passion and enthusiasm for dogs is evident when she exhibits her Malinois in the breed, obedience and agility rings.  Though Lisa initially began exhibiting dogs in 1970 primarily in the obedience ring, her real love is training and exhibiting dogs, not just malinois, in the breed ring.  In addition to exhibiting dogs, Lisa teaches handling classes.  Her students compete quite successfully at the highest levels.   Recently, one of her students won Best In Show on the competitive Tar Heel Circuit in 2001, and another made the top 5 with her terrier and received both an invitation to the Eukanuba Classic in Florida December 2001, and an invitation to Westminister Kennel Club Show in February 2002.

                Lisa began showing her Pembroke Welsh Corgi in Junior handling classes in the early 1970s.  Since that time Lisa has shown numerous dogs, most to their championships.  The breeds she has shown include Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Whippets, Kerry Blue Terriers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Golden Retrievers, Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers and of course Belgian Malinois.  Lisa was listed in Kerry Nesbits "Whos Who in Handling" book, 1993.  Significant accomplishments include:  Top Five Rhodesian Ridgeback 1988;  Best of Breed at the Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier Specialty at Montgomery County Kennel Club in 1990;  Number one Belgian Malinois, Ch Hugo Von Heinrich De LFerme, number one in group wins and placements, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, number one all systems 1990, 1991 including winning the prestigious Pedigree Award 1990, 1991 and Best of Breed at Westminister Kennel Club.  In addition, Lisa has shown numerous Malinois to the top five standings in the breed including Ch Hardcastle De LFerme, Ch Tri Sort Fluerry Knox, Ch Tri Sorts Solitaire, Ch Tri Sorts Bold Retainer, CGC, CD, NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ.  Most recently Lisa has been showing Ch Tri Sorts Hot Ticket, taking him to #3 in very limited showing in 2001 and receiving an invitation to the Eukanuba Invitational in Orlando Florida and also an invitation to Westminister Kennel Club.
