Kent Island is about 50 miles from the northern end of the 200-mile-long Chesapeake Bay, ten miles east of Annapolis and 20 miles north of Easton. Traditional vessels like the schooner Tree of Life (top left corner of this page) often sail near my home on the Chester River.
Tom sails CRESCENDO, his 1976 Ranger 33, with the help of Genny, the Talking Cat.
