NGC 7635 the"Bubble" nebula

The "Bubble" catalog number NGC 7635 is a faint nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia that resembles it namesake ! The center portion of the image strongly resembles a bubble in the sky ! The following is the text from the NASA Photo of the Day which featured a new Hubble image: Explanation: What created this huge space bubble? A massive star that is not only bright and blue, but also emitting a fast stellar wind of ionized gas . The Bubble Nebula is actually the smallest of three bubbles surrounding massive star BD+602522, and part of gigantic bubble network S162 created with the help of other massive stars. As fast moving gas expands off BD+602522, it pushes surrounding sparse gas into a shell . The energetic starlight then ionizes the shell, causing it to glow.
This image was taken with an MX7c ccd camera and 11" Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope at f3.3 using AstroArt 2.0 and the Star 2000 selfguide interface in fair seeing. It is an LRGB with 6x4 minutes for the color channel and 3x4 minutes for the luminance processed in AA2.0 with a slight unsharp mask performed on the luminance to enhance detail .
