"Horsehead Nebula"AKA" Barnard 33"

The "Horsehead Nebula" located a little below Zet Orionis the lowermost star in the "Belt"of Orion. This nebula is a dark nebula that is very difficult to see because it is backlit by an emissionn nebula .When I took the photo I could not visually detect it! I knew the aproximate area and aimed the scope in that direction and in 4 shots got it ! Just below Zeta Orionis {the bright star in the photo} you can make out a piece of the "Flame" nebula. The "Horshead " is so named because of its obvious shape { located just to the right of center in the photo} This picture was taken with the 8" scope
with a 25 min. exposure on Kodak Gold 400 at F6.3
