A ccd look at the central region of the Orion nebula. Even though the exposures were only 15 seconds each of 10 the "Trapezium" stars are overexposed . Nonetheless six stars are apparent in the "Trapezium". If I could process the image more others would be visible.Swirling detail can be seen in the nebula itself which is a star factory in progress ! This image was taken with my ST5C ccd camera and 11" scope at f4.7.It is a composite of 10 -15 second exposure using "track and accumulate" software from SBIG.
