M51 the "Whirlpool Galaxy" located in Canes Venatici needs optical aid to be seen.The bigger the scope the better the view ! 40 min. exposure on kodak 400 gold at f6.3 w/8" scope. I haven`t yet had the opportunity to get a shot with the 11", but I suspect it will be a little diff..When I do I will post it for comparison.
