An image of M57 the "Ring" nebula located in the constellation Lyra. This image is an LRGB 5X240 seconds using AA 2.0 and an MX7c ccd camera on an 11" scope guided by Star 2000 interface at f3.3. All processing was done in AA 2.0 with an unsharp mask applied to the luminance frame to increase detail . The "Ring" nebula at magnitude 9 is quite easy in small scopes located in a starry field of view high in the sky during the summer months here in the northeast ! It resembles a smoke ring in the sky in 3" scopes with more detail visible as aperture increases !
