NGC 6934

NGC 6934 is a globular cluster located in the constellation of Delphinus. It shines at magnitude 8.9 and is rather compact with many faint stars on the outskirts of the central portion. Extra long exposures bring out the fainter stars. Some can be detected in this 18 min exposure with the 8" scope at f6.3 using Kodak Gold 400. The image was resampled to increase image size a bit. I hope to take another shot of NGC6934 soon with the 11" scope and newer films and with a CCD camera for comparison !
