A combination of two images of the pleiades star cluster showing some of the nebulosity associated with the cluster. This image was taken with my St5C ccd camera and the SBIG E-finder which is a combination of the fr-237 focal reducer and extension tube mounted piggyback to my 11" Celstron scope. The images were 180 seconds and 60 seconds unguided combined using "Gimp" for windows. The combination of the reducer and extension tube essentially create an 100mm f4 system that can act as a stand-alone imager for wide field views. This field is apr. 1.4 X 2.0 degrees !
