Ring Nebula

The "Ring Nebula" as it is called because of it`s obvious shape is a shell of material that was blown away from the central star. Our viewpoint is thought to be of one who would be looking down the hole of a tube. This picture was taken with the 11" scope at f10 on Kodak Royal Gold 1000 for 15 minutes using the Taurus astrophoto system.
