Also known as L. Ron Hubbard {or LRH}, he was an American born science fiction writer, World War II U.S. navy veteran and explorer that became a researcher into Man's spiritual nature leading him to found his own church based on his own philosophy.

     Moments of unconsciousness accompanied by physical pain are recorded in a hidden area of the human mind known as the reactive mind. The recordings called engrams contain everything that happens with a person during moments of unconsciousness. In a person's normal conscious life these recordings are unavailable to a person's memory by reason of their content.

     An example of an engram is a 3 hour knee surgery performed under general anesthetic. Such an incident would contain intense physical pain and unconsciousness as content almost exclusively.

     If anything in a person's present time environment matches anything that is part of the content of an engram {such as words, sounds, music, smells, noises, temperature etc.} the engram restimulates {or reactivates} below the person's awareness like a post hypnotic suggestion and dictates the person's thoughts, actions and behavior. The kind of behavior a person may dramatize is based on the content of the engram restimulated. The more pain, unconsciousness and other content an engram contains the greater its influence over a person.

     An engram is almost if not impossible for a person to recall on their own without the help of another individual. Dianetics invokes a specialized type of counseling delivered by a person called an auditor {meaning one who listens} that uses a standardized method of questioning called auditing to locate an engram in a person being audited. Once an engram is found the person must relive the entire engram conscious of it for the first time {as if it were actually happening to them right at that moment}. Once an engram is fully recalled in its entirety it erases as a moment of unconsciousness and becomes part of the person's normal useful memory in addition to losing any negative influence it may have had over a person.

     Once a person gets rid of their reactive mind they arrive at the state of Clear. Being Clear essentially means that an individual no longer has their reactive mind any more.

     Dianetics was re-named New Era Dianetics {NED} in 1978.

     Before matter, energy, space and time existed {the 4 things that make up the physical universe around us} there was only one universe called the theta universe that was home to all immortal spiritual beings called thetans.

     Thetans are governed by natural laws different from those that govern physical objects. 2 Pieces of wood that come in contact with each other will not create a memory of the event. But, if a thetan contacts another thetan in this manner {such as 2 thetans that collide in to one another} it is a natural instinct for a thetan to create a mental image picture copy of the experience.

     About 400 quadrillion years ago 2 thetans collided in to each other not intending to do so. A thetan created the first mental image picture but without any knowledge beforehand that such an event could happen. 20% Of all thetans tried to copy this experience and the remaining 80% did not.

     The combined intention and counter-intention of all thetans along with no knowledge of any kind yet with which to understand anything in progress inadvertently resulted in the mis-creation of a new universe called the MEST universe. The word MEST is coined from the first letters of the words Matter, Energy, Space and Time {the 4 elements that make up the universe around us}. Once the MEST universe was created without any knowledge with which to understand and control it, it then became too late to do anything about it. All thetans got trapped in it, 20% with their own original ideas about it and 80% without.

     The 20% are called suppressive people meaning evil and the 80% are called social personalities meaning good. Scientologists believe they are immortal thetans or spiritual beings eternally reincarnated in the bodies of life forms such as people on Earth. So, in a society as we would know it 20% of the people would be evil and 80% of the people would be good based on their role in Incident I.

     The whole time track is the moment to moment record a thetan keeps of its entire existence in the physical {MEST} universe in picture and impression form. Incident I is any thetan's first record of its existence in the MEST universe. All thetans in the universe have Incident I in common with each other {meaning any mental image pictures created by them of that event}.

     The MEST universe cycle of creation {Incident I} is as follows:

     A loud snap. Waves of light. A chariot appears and turns right then left.
     A cherub appears and comes closer while blowing a horn.
     A shattering series of snaps and the cherub fades away and retreats.
     Total blackness {MEST} is dumped on all thetans.

     Electricity {physical universe energy} if strategically harnessed enables a thetan to spiritually harm another thetan in and regardless of any adopted physical life form a thetan inhabits. When a thetan comes in contact with electricity a state of immobilized spiritual amnesia ensues. Anything done to a thetan in an electrically immobilized state will afterwards affect the thetan much like a person is affected by an engram. The main difference being that an implant can only be acquired when a thetan is exterior from a body {such as when it is between lifetimes}. An engram by contrast can only be acquired when a thetan is in a body and will only affect a person as long as they are in the same body the engram was acquired in. Any forced electrical modification of a thetan's behavior in order to control a thetan is called an implant and the action of doing this is called implanting. An implant is transported with a thetan from lifetime to lifetime, from body to body corrupting the existence of whatever life form a thetan chooses to survive as.

     Secondly, an engram is not something that is normally pre-planned in advance as to the nature of its contents, such as an engram caused by a knee surgery done under general anesthesia. An implant by contrast is pre-engineered to contain specific content designed to affect a thetan in an exact known way.

     An implant is composed of deliberately designed verbal commands and images intended to exert an exact kind of complete control over another thetan's thoughts and actions. A thetan can get an implant from a mechanical device called an implant station designed to electrically immobilize and then flash verbal commands and images at a thetan, that the thetan is then forced to make a mental image picture copy of. The electricity in the implant always appears to the thetan as a light, and each time a thetan tries to contact the implant, it contacts the light and the information in the implant remains occluded as electricity + thetan = amnesia.

     Developing machines to implant thetans is not currently one of Mankind's current things to focus on. Implants were given to people before our current society on Earth was formed. For ages upon ages before Earth society in other places about the universe where other societies once lived but are now extinct, people in those societies called implant psychiatrists thought of ways to implant people and "keep them in line". There was no technology in existence in those places to get rid of an implant once one was acquired so the outcome was more or less final.

     A mass implant means groups of thetans {instead of just one} are taken to the same place at the same time and given the same implant all at once. The end result is that any thetan involved in a mass implant will have the same exact mass implant in common only with any other thetan involved in the mass implant.

     The thetans are then made to collide in to each other so that any mental image picture created from this experience is just an exact replica of the same exact experience. The thetan's copy and mis-own each other's identical implant and then copy this experience from one another and remain stuck in time doing this forever as if the experiences they are copying are their own. This happens without any of the thetans ever recognizing that a mass implant is the cause of this.

     A thetan in a state of spiritual bondage to another thetan this way is called a body thetan {or BT}. More than one BT bonded to another is called a cluster, which can be small or large made of a few or many BT's.

     BT's And clusters by nature once formed bond randomly to a single host thetan that then transports them with it from body to body, from lifetime to lifetime unaware of each other's existence's. In the body of a human being, BT's and clusters will make copies of their host's engrams {recorded when the host is physically unconscious} and also copies of the host's drug related experiences as if these mental image pictures were their own experience.

     A BT's copies of its host's experiences will eventually begin to adversely influence the host in a negative manner the more similar a host's real life environment is to the content of the BT's mental image pictures. If a host has lived 12 past lifetimes on Earth, that host's BT's and clusters will possess 12 past lifetimes of copies of that host's experiences that they have copied, some, many or all of which, the host will not even remember happened to it ever.

     Irrational thoughts, actions, physical trauma and death can come about in a host that unknowingly mistakes a BT's mental image pictures as its own creation. The more a host probes these pictures for their source the more copies of the experiences the BT's and clusters will make and the more difficult it will become to find the true source. BT's And clusters can be at the root of things such as "illnesses that have been in a family for generations".

     Some BT's and clusters can remain in an unconscious like state following a mass implant rendering them incapable of making copies of their host's experiences. This type of BT is called a dormant BT or cluster and has been rendered "dead" or "comatose like" and just lies dormant and attached to a host thetan. Dormant BT's and clusters could and would make copies of their host's experiences but only in the unlikely event that they were ever roused to consciousness from the state that they are in. Dormant BT's and clusters are the source of such things as "conditions that don't budge".

     About 95 million years ago a civilized confederacy known as the Marcab was founded in our galaxy. This civilization survived for over 20 million years composed of 76 planets {Earth, then called Teegeeack, was a part of this confederacy}. The planets orbited a total of 21 large stars. Life there resembled a 1950's Earth metropolis with spacecraft that could travel faster than the speed of light. Ruled by a galactic overlord named Xenu and defended by a good will group called the Loyal Officers, the Marcab people were the last civilization in time to possess state of the art implanting technology.

     About 75 million years ago nearly 200 billion people lived on each of the Marcab planets. The overpopulation problem was blamed on Xenu and it was asked that he be removed from office.

     During his last days in office Xenu with the help of renegade armies and implant psychiatrists, devised a mass implant that was to be carried out on the population. Fake call-in centers were set up that all the citizens were sent notices to report to so their tax records could be audited as part of the plan. As the unsuspecting people arrived {some brought forcefully} they were chemically freeze dried {a suspended animation type state} to prevent their souls {or thetans} from leaving their bodies. The paralyzed people were put in DC-8 like looking spaceships and taken to Teegeeack {Earth} where they were dumped at the bases of volcanoes in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.

     Atomic weapons {hundreds of times more powerful than anything that exists on Earth} were then detonated on the volcanoes vaporizing the people's bodies and hurling their souls {or thetans} into the Earth's atmosphere. The disembodied thetans were re-collected on electrical ribbon like traps that moved across the air in waves. While in the traps they were transported to a pre-built Earth implant station that resembled a multi-screen cinema. It is here that all the thetans were given the same exact 3-dimensional mass implant for 36 straight days.

     The implant consists of a deranged blueprint for our society in the form of knowledge people on Earth today believe is the truth about them {such as Gods, demons, heaven, hell, angels, UFO's, unalterable languages, religions, traditions, schools of thought etc.}. This pre-engineers our society to go wrong as it unconsciously propels itself to its pre-implanted final destination. The human reactive mind was genetically engineered as part of the "nature" of our society. 

     After 36 days the thetans were taken in box like traps to a packaging center {either in the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean depending on which ocean the volcano one was vaporized at was located in} and packaged into clusters before being abandoned on Earth for all of eternity.

     Almost the entire Marcab population was mass implanted on Earth including Loyal Officers.
