Cinema Mystique is the monthly newsletter that chronicles the activities of the Societe de Cinema Mal du Mon. Gathering near the bank of the Monongahela River at our home base in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, we are a collection of aspiring intellectuals who try to enhance our wretched lives by making fun of some of the world's worst and downright odd cinematic offerings. Also known as the Ed Wood Jr. Appreciation Society, SCMuMmies gather once a month to feast on highly caloric cuisine and hurl wise-ass comments at the video projection screen. Once a year in the April issue, Cinema Mystique confers its Best (i.e. worst) Awards to the previous year's favorites. The SCMuMmy award (pictured above) is emblematic of the very worst in filmmaking.

Madame Falbeaux graciously welcomes you to her petite page du web. As you can see, we literally rub shoulders with the titans of cult cinema. At left, Madame Falbeaux (Linda Tomsho) gets cozy with "Pink Flamingos" director John Waters. (Madame's smile is brighter than Waters's jacket.) Arch Hall Jr. (star of "The Sadist") admires the fact that Colonel Tom (Tom Powers) bought a DVD of "Wild Guitar" at a signing event in Dormont's Incredibly Strange Video store. Madame and Colonel Tom invite you to click on the links below to download a PDF file of their homemade "zine," Cinema Mystique.
