American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) is my longest-running client. I began working for them in 1985 when it was the Sheridan Broadasting Network (SBN). Local radio station WAMO was owned by the same company as SBN, so I also did design and printing for them as well. SBN was united with New York-based National Black Network in 1991 to form AURN. Since then, I've had steady work from the Atlanta, New York, and Pittsburgh offices of AURN.

A job I've been doing since 1988 for SBN and later for AURN's subdivision, SBN Sports, is the annual Black College All-American Awards banquet program. Typically, the program is around 36 pages, but special issues have gotten as large as 56 pages. Several NFL stars have been a part of this awards program. Notables such as Shannon Sharpe; Michael Strahan; and Super Bowl MVP, Doug Williams have all sat down at the SBN Sports banquet table.

Most of the work involves creating ads and flyers (or "one sheets") for AURN's programming division, some of which are shown here. The "Hottest Programs in Urban Radio" ad ran in Billboard magazine.
