These pictures are from my 39th birthday in 2007.  We were celebrating at a Salsa club near the border of Mexico. ( I recently learned how to dance, but that’s a story in itself!)  Some of the people who made the drive to surprise me are:  Tim and Ana Maria next to us on the left, James and his wife Mandy closest on the right, and behind them, my brother and sister-in-law Steve and Angie.

 

              

 

       

 

Here are 2 of my daughters Carolina and Kianna with my Grandfather, Neal Harlan at On the Border in May 2005 on the top left.  We loved him a lot, but he left us to be with Grandma and Christ in June 2005. My Grandmother Rheta Harlan is just to the right of him with Kaelynn when she was still quite new.  Rheta passed away in March of 2005.  On the bottom left is my grandfather Gordon Bates who passed away in June 2006 with my daughter just a few weeks before he left us and his wife and my last grandmother, Mary Lou passed away early 2008 and is on the bottom right.  We have the hope to be with all of them again as they are all Believers, but it was rough couple years for us and we miss them a lot.

 

                                          

 

Here is a picture of my Sister Heather and my daughter Kaelynn.  She made me post this by twisting my arm.. Hard!  Really!!   J  I figured I would post this one of my other sister Holly on the right to avoid any future pain.  Heidi, I need a picture! J

             

 

Here is my oldest daughter Carolina trying to be cool in July 2008, and one I like much better where she is being affectionate.  My wife is a good photographer.  She is trying to get into modeling or acting.

Kianna on the left making points with me and in the middle, Kianna with her Great-Grandmother (the last of my kids Great Grandparents) and my wife’s grandmother.  On the right, I had the privilege to baptize Kianna as she made a public profession of her faith in Jesus Christ. 

            

On the left is a picture from February 2007.  It is my Father-in-law, My wife’s half sister, and my 3 daughters in Peru.  They are growing so fast.  To the right is my wife as we celebrated our 14 wedding anniversary in May 2007.  We are in San Diego, and it was right before she  found out I had been taking Salsa lessons on the sly.. while she was in Peru. J

            

This is my wife’s Uncle, and her grandparents (Her grandfather passed away in June 2007 at 91) with Carolina from March 2007 on the left.  On the right is my wife’s mother, and her other sister Ingrid.
