| Boy Scouts is for boys ages 11-18. A lot of new Scouts are former Cub Scouts, but any boy can join if he's old enough. A Scout Troop is divided up into patrols. Each patrol works together as a team on campouts and activities and projects. Each patrol elects their own leaders. The top boy leader in a Troop is the Senior Patrol Leader. He is in charge of all the Scouts and runs the meetings and activities. |

So...
What do Scouts do??
Scouts like to get outdoors. Scouts hike, camp, swim, canoe, snowshoe, climb, and bike. Scouts learn how to survive in the wilderness. Scouts can build campfires, pitch tents, and live on their own in the woods. Scouts learn how to save lives. Scouts get to have adventures most guys just daydream about. |
