About Ruth

After spending sixteen years as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom, Ruth realized that it was time to get a life of her own. When her children were small, she graduated from the Institute of Children’s Literature, always telling herself that she would have more time for writing when the kids got older. They have. And she does.

Her first love has always been writing emotionally-charged stories for young adults. She also writes for adults on parenting, homeschooling, family issues, and writing.

She lives with her husband, two daughters, one sweet dog, and one never-tiring, mischievous puppy whose antics are currently threatening her sanity.
