About Us
TwoBuckBaby Designs has been in business approximately
2 years; since 2005.
My first thoughts for this business were to be
just a fun way to fill-in my "spare" time and as a release mechanism for needing to do something with my hands during
the winter months.
People had shown interest in the items I had
made and suggested that I try selling them. I currently sell on eBay, at craft fairs, and at yard sales (my own).
I have been teaching basic beading and more advanced weaving
techniques for approximately 12 months at a local bead store in Nashua NH. See the In-Store Teaching page for more information.
I have also started doing Home Parties where I come to YOUR house
to teach you how to make jewelry. See the Home Parties page for more information.
Where does the name TwoBuckBaby come from? Well, you can thank
my husband for that. It is an auction nick-name that he gave me over the years. We would attend auctions throughout
southern NH; there would be items that didn't seem to draw much interest, so the auctioneer would ask for "any" bids.
I would offer $2, and end up with the items for this price. Hense the name TwoBuckBaby! It just kind of stuck.
