Classes Available
Beginner Earring This class is the most complicated
of the Beginner courses, but it teaches you the most important techniques used throughout the jewelry making fields.
You will learn how to make hoops, single-dangle, and double-dangle earrings, as
well as connector techniques.
This class takes approximately 2 hours depending on the skill level of the attendees,
and how many attendees.
Price: $15/person; 3-person minimum. Supplies are NOT
included in this fee.
Beginner Bracelet & Necklace This
class is fairly simple; the hardest part of this course is learning how to use the crimp tool, and picking out the material
you will use.
You can use either old jewelry that you no longer wear and want to
make it new again, or you can purchase new beads.
This class takes approximately 2 hours depending on the skill level
of the attendees and how many attendees.
Price: $15/person; 3-person minimum. Supplies are NOT
included in this fee.
Advanced Earrings - Chandelier This class uses the techniques
learned in Beginner Earring; specifically the connector bead technique.
The class takes approximately 2 hours depending on the skill level of the attendees
and how many attendees.
Prerequisite: Beginner Earring
Price: $18/person; 3-person minimum. Supplies are NOT
included in this fee.
Wrapped Stones & Cabachons This
class teaches the basics of wrapping stones & cabachons using square wire.
For the beginner, the best stone or cabachons to use are those that
are NOT completely round; a stone in the "rough" is perfect for learning this technique.
My thoughts on teaching this class is to use craft wire
until you are comfortable with the technique, then when you are ready, use the sterling silver or gold-filled wire for your
final piece. Otherwise the cost of the waste sterling and gold-filled wire is more than the cost of the class.

Weaving - Spiral Rope Bracelet This is a more advanced class.
You will make one bracelet using size 6, 8, or 10 seed beads, and a clasp - whether
it be a stick pearl, a round bead, or a metal clasp, it is your choice.
This class is taught using needle and thread, so please choose an age group accordingly.
This class takes approximately 2.5 hours depending on the skill level of the attendees
and how many attendees.
Price: $22/person; 3-person minimum. Thread is included in this fee.
Weaving - Right Angle Bracelet And/Or Earrings
This is a more advanced class.
You will make one bracelet or one pair of earrings using Swarovski
bicone crystals; it will use approximately 150 crystals for a 7.5-inch bracelet, or 45 crystals for 1.5-inch long earrings.
The clasp can be anything you like, whether it be a large square Swarovski crystal, or a sterling silver or gold-filled clasp;
chose sterling or gold earwires.
This class is taught using needle and thread, so please choose an
age group accordingly.
This class takes approximately 3 hours depending on the skill level
of the attendess and number of attendees.
Price: $25/person; 3-person minimum. Thread is included
in this fee.
Beaded Doilies This class is taught using Delica
Japanese Seed Beads and beading thread.
This course uses needle and thread so please choose an appropriate
age group.
To make a small 5-inch diameter doilies takes approximately 3 hours
depending on the skill level of the attendees and number of attendees.
Price: $18/person; 3-person minimum. Thread is included in this fee.
