  Damnage.Com...

Does anyone out there remember Damnage.Com? I do, I built it! Back in 1999 I decided that it was time that I finally put together my own domain, something cool to run various CGI scripts (like the BlackList Top 100), and by all accounts, it was pretty successful for quite a few years.

Then I let it all go to hell...

What can I say? I got bored with it. I let the domain lapse into obscurity. I got too caught up and busy with work, a lot of what I did involved sitting in front of a computer monitor all day, and the last thing that I wanted to do was sit in front of another one when I got home. I still own the name and everything, but the web space that it's currently sitting on is dead space.

  So...
What the hell am I doing now? Something basic, something simple. Something that doesn't involve a lot of CGI/Perl scripting. If I remember correctly, the whole purpose behind Damnage was to drag everyone in so that they could see the other stuff that I could do, read some of my original writing, see some of my original artwork. It all got lost in the shuffle - running Damnage became what was equivalent to a full time job. It was really fun at first, then it started getting tedious.

Some buttons...

 Anyway...

Ultra Vortek is just a simple little site hosted by Verizon.Net (my ISP) where all of the stuff that I really wanted to work on, web-wise has a place to park. It's just my simple attempt at a personal web site.

Like I said before, I still own Damnage, I may resurrect it someday (as something TOTALLY different from what it was...), but for now, I'm content to present Ultra Vortek...

I'd like to say thank you to Archive.Org and their Internet Archive  Wayback Machine - I'd lost many of the old images and pages from the original Damnage.Com, and they were immensely helpful in my efforts to find some of the old graphics and pages that no longer existed on my computer.

.

By the way, if you came here looking for ways to promote your web pages, give these guys a shot...
