What can I say? My name is Michael Rogers, and I live in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. I was born back in September of 1972. I live alone in a modest 2-bedroom apartment in the Fairview Township section of Mountain Top on Route 309 (right next door to the good people of III Guys' Pizza & Sports Bar). I've worked in the extruded plastics industry for quite a few years in both technical and managerial capacities. More recently, I did a stint for the United States Government as a Benefit Notices Clerk for the Social Security Administration. In my spare time I make web pages, watch movies (anything will do, as long as it has a good story to it), read books (poetry, fiction, historical), and sometimes I even venture down the hill, when the mood strikes me, to the aforementioned sports bar to enjoy a nice cold bottle of Molson Golden. Or, more specifically, I spend quite a bit of time at a little bar on Wood Street in Wilkes-Barre by the name of Whiskey Business. I've been a regular face there for years, and you may even see me at the front door working as a bouncer from time to time. I've also written a novel which I hope to get published someday. I have other writing projects that I'm working on, including ideas for three other novels. I'm currently dividing my time between re-writes of the first, and a first draft of the second. I've recently completed work on a novelette. You're more than welcome to read it.Pretty boring, eh? |
