SERVICE
TIMESSunday School is at
9:45 during the school year. With classes available for the youngest
of children through the most mature of adults- we have a class
for every person and every need! Come join us for education with a bit
of fun. Come to Sunday School!
Sunday Evening, the UMYmeets
from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00. Some of their recent events include an all-night
Rock-a-thon for Cystic Fibrosis, the annual Work Camp trip was to Washington
DC for a week, and a weekend retreat in the Fall to Jumonville Retreat
Center. Service, learning and fun are all parts of our UMY. If you are
in grades 6-12, then UMY is the place for you.
Thursday
Evening at 6:00, the BIBLE
STUDY group meets to study Scripture, talk
about discipleship and wrestle with current events. Oh- and we always have
something to eat, too!
Also, for children and youth, our Bell Choir meets on Tuesdays at 4:00- we can always use one more ringer!
The
UMW,
or
United
Methodist
Women
are extremely active in our church, providing spiritual leadership, enthusiasm,
an ever-helping hand and even funding to crucial projects of the church.
You may join with them as they meet for lunch on the second Thursday of
the month at 12:00 noon.
The Ambassadors are the Social group for adults in the church. They have hosted murder mystery evenings, international food nights, a Game night and also coordinate the Family Retreat held every year. But it's not all fun and games-they also have supported numerous mission and service projects in the church. If you think that your faith can be made stronger by being with other people who join together on the road to Discipleship, then you want to be an AMBASSADOR for Christ!
