Upstream
is a small home-based business I started in 1998, shortly
after completing a successful four year tour with the USAF.
The office is situated very near the upper St. Joseph river,
which incidentally helped inspire the business name. With
Upstream, however, you are getting much more than just a name.
I started working with and repairing computers and computer
related equipment in 1994. USAF electronics training background,
over 12 years of experience working with computer hardware
and a continuing education allows me to provide the latest
innovations in computer hardware technology and software installation.

| I
was born and raised in the Michiana area, and I am pleased to
have the opportunity to serve the very same community now. Since
I was very little, my talents were focused on drawing, painting
or just about anything that required a "hands-on"
approach. To help pay for a fine arts degree from college, I
joined the USAF and was assigned to the position of "radio
communications technician." While in the service, I further
studied through the Community College of the Air Force to get
my certification in electronics. That is where my interest in
computers, and my break from traditional to digital art began.
I recently completed my original goal of a college degree through
Indiana University in South Bend, but it is more a Bachelor's
degree in Computer Graphics now, rather than Fine Arts.
I find this line of work to be both challenging and rewarding,
as it is something I love doing, and I hope to continue growing
and serving in the Michiana area for many years to come. |
