Delete a Listing

Finding out about listings which are gone is a difficult task for your editor.
We appreciate your efforts in notifying us about these listings.

An email address is optional. This information is never published in the USBBS List and never released to anyone. The USBBS List does not contain email addresses.

NOTE: If there is a question about your deletion submission and the editor cannot contact you, the submission will be discarded.

Enter the BBS or Web Resource as it is listed in the USBBS List.

Enter the phone number, Telnet or Web address as listed in the USBBS List.
Phone, Telnet or Web address:

Please tell us WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS when this listing is contacted.

Acceptable examples and abbreviations:

  • Voice = voice or voice answering machine answered phone (Dial-up)
  • Disconnect = phone company message 'disconnected' or 'not in service' (Dial-up).
  • Fax = fax machine answered (Dial-up).
  • Internet = an Internet dial-up answered the phone (Dial-up).
  • Not Public = new users not accepted or an unpublished log-on is needed (Dial-up, Telnet, Web).
  • Sysop Request = I am the Sysop and want the listing removed (Dial-up, Telnet, Web).
  • Report 'no answer' in this format: 'No answer in (x) tries over (x) days' (Dial-up, Telnet, Web).
If a condition other than those above exists, please explain.

NOTE: offline, down etc. are not acceptable.
