My childhood memories of August in Ohio always include swimming pools, humidity, heat and fried zucchini! This is adapted from the ol' family recipe, and is great as a side dish with whatever you are grilling!
Preheat large skillet with a light coating of olive oil.
Combine the flour and spices. Coat zucchini slices with flour mixture. Fry quickly in oil, turning with fork to lightly brown both sides. Remove to a platter with paper towels. Drain, cover to keep warm. NOTE: May need to re-oil pan after a couple of batches to prevent sticking.
