Yesterday... I walked with my children to vote in the local primary election. I answered their questions, showed them the kinds of positions we had to vote for, and explained how their dad and I decided who would get our vote. And, like many other parents yesterday, I made meals, cleaned, did the laundry, helped with homework, played a game, read a book, and tucked my kids in bed with a big hug and kiss. TODAY! I sent my kids to school with a special prayer for their protection, not just physical, but emotional protection as well. I spent time in prayer and remembrance, and in worship. I celebrate the liberty and freedom we have in the United States, and thank God for it. From our home to yours- For other "musings, " please see
