Q: If precognition is for real, does not that imply that events are fated to occur?
That would stand to reason if one takes the view that the mind must travel through time to retrieve info about a future event. But I believe that our mind, when it has a precognitive perception about a future event, is actually sensing info that exist at the present time, and extrapolates from this info what may happen in the future. And barring an unexpected event that may occur in the interim to change things, an event that was forming at the time and not sensed, the precognition event will occur, which then gives the illusion that it was a fated event.
I would think that it is possible although I suspect a different state of mind other than the normal awake state would be needed to do so. For instance, two close friends or lovers can both go into a light trance state or into a day dream like state. Pick a location where you both will be, like on the beach, etc. Doing such an experiment, I suspect, a couple can be successful in having a common dream experience. This is sort like a conversation.
Usually, telepathy involves a pick up about another person's feeling or mood, or about something the other person is thinking, has thought, or has experienced.
One of the differences is that a telepathic, and ESP, thoughts seems to come out of the blue, they occur, and come to mind when least expected. It occurs sort of like when you get a creative idea, or a solution to problem comes to mind, or you remember something. Sometimes a telepathic/ESP thought (visual, voice heard, feeling) comes to mind strongly and gets your attention, at other times it may be a fleeting thought you noticed occurred, but you did not follow up on by thinking about it. Also, telepathic/ESP thoughts usually occur during a time when your conscious mental activity has relaxed, even if for just a moment.
Telepathic/ESP thoughts also can manifest themselves in a dream, when you are day dreaming or sleep dreaming. The info may come clearly and literally in your dream or come integrated with other info making up a dream story.
There is more, but the best way to rapidly increase your telepathic/ESP perceptive skill, and your ability to tell the difference from your own self-created, self-generated, thoughts is by keeping a note pad and noting down the thoughts that on occasion come to mind during the day, and by recording your dreams immediately upon awakening.
Yes. Basically. Telepathy involves the receiving, the pick up of info from someone, and the pick up of info about events, this is often referred to as ESP. Telepathy also involves the sending, the projecting or the radiating of info. This is where telepathy and telekinesis are related functions. Both telepathy and telekinesis involves mental radiation or projection of a thought and feeling. With telepathy thoughts and feelings are directed to one or more persons for the purpose of conveying info. With telekinesis thoughts and feelings are directed for the purpose of causing a movement of an object or to affect an activity or event. I believe so-called psychic healing and the use of healing prayers can be said to involve both telepathy and telekinesis.
Yes, but the thoughts you wish to convey via telepathy can not be verbal thoughts in your language since the other person does not know your language. You need to translate your thoughts into feelings and or images and project your thoughts to the other person in that form.
