MONDAY, MONDAY, PUBLIC RADIO CONTEST, GEORGIA RULE
Yes, an entire week or seven days has slipped by. But I did notice it slipping by, sometimes
passing by, sometimes floating by, and sometimes zooming by. Did you notice? What I have been fairly good at,
while the week slipped by or away, is staying focused on the present, the wonder of the letters popping up on this screen
right as I type them, or earlier today, walking in a rural area of Yucaipa, and during the entire four miles that I walked,
I didn't have to think about a single bill!!
I am, however, writing this to you from some place North along the highway. I decided the heck with the bills,
and to keep on walking!!
Ten years ago today, my father passed away. I am looking forward to the sunset tonight,
to see just how much sky-blue pink he will create from his easel in the sky. I guess I should explain. Just before
he died, he told us that his favorite color was sky-blue pink. Never heard of that color before until he told us it
was his favorite! So if you should notice the sunset tonight, and you SEE, perhaps for the first time yourself, what
sky-blue pink looks like, then you'll know that you're looking at my Dad's artwork from above, and if you hear a train blow
its whistle at the same time, then you will really know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that this is, indeed, his sunset!!
I submitted an audition to public radio. Please go to the PERSONAL INFORMATION page on this website. You have two options. Hopefully you will do both. Click on The
Public Radio Talent Quest link. That will take you to the Public Radio Website. Because you go to the site
from this website, I earn "affiliate points." Once you get to the website, you can register if you want. It is
free. There are a lot of interesting things on that website. HOWEVER, most important ACTION is to vote for me. The
easiest way to do that is to click on the Vern's Audio Audition link on the Personal Information Page of this website.
The audition is very funny I think, and I am proud of myself for doing it. And while you're there, take the time
to vote for other auditions and leave a comment for them!
Saw a great movie yesterday. GEORGIA RULE. THE MOVIES
Have a good week. Be aware of NOW.

Scott is the GENTLEman on the left. You can tell how much we love each other!

The music, Clair De Lune, is from the CD Debussy/Ravel Piano Works.
It is a Classical Gallery CD produced by Platinum Disc Corporation, P. O. Box
2798, La Crosse, Wisconsin 94602
This is one of my favorite piano pieces from the many concerts I attended as a little
kid right there in my own living room--listening to Mom play.
See blog for March 10.

Ian on his favorite morning--CHRISTMAS--with his favorite animal--ANGEL! See Blog for August 23.

My Birthday buddy, Glenn, getting into WILDFIRE!

Maynard on his 92nd birthday, contemplating kicking my butt in cribbage!
