I would like to say that I don't worry about money, but I worry about money A LOT. It
sometimes consumes huge amounts of my waking and sleeping.
BUT I am making some headway with a little voice that keeps reminding me to focus on the NOW
where there are no financial issues as such.
I realize that there is really NOTHING in my life that has any value outside of the value
that I give it. And you know what, it is the same with money. The money I have in my pocket or the money in the
bank has no intrinsic value. It only has the value that a group of people, I do not know their names, but they have
names, give it.
I suppose if I had gold or silver, I might have "money" with SOME intrinsic value,
but even the value of gold and silver fluctuates and sometimes REALLY fluctuates.
Who determines how valuable my house is? My car? All the equipment in my office?
Who decides about this interesting phenomenon known as "appreciation" and "depreciation." It's all PSYCHOLOGICAL.
NOTHING to do with FINANCES.
So I invite you to join me in my day to day quest to value what is most valuable to me in my
life and spend my energies worrying about AND ENJOYING what is most valuable (see photos to right).
MONEY IS THE LEAST OF ALL OF OUR WORRIES. (Remind me of this blog when you catch
me biting my precious fingernails!!) Enjoy the photos
