In our Kindergarten
PM Enrichment Program subject areas will be integrated through unifying themes that children will enjoy exploring. The themes will be built on the children's interests and may or may not co-ordinate with the time of year.
All activities are intellectual and emotionally suited for five and six year old's. The children learn in a way that they learn best; ACTIVELY & CONCRETELY. They will think critically, solve problems, explore and share ideas.
The Enrichment class will be an environment where the children will care about each other as well as learn from each other. It will be a community of learners where active play, non-competitiveness and FUN are part of upper most importance.
Some of the topics, which may be
included, are: insects, space, transportation, weather, arctic animals and ecology.
By unifying themes we can make activities come alive for every child. The themes will incorporate letters, phonics, science experiments, manipulatives, art, crafts, cooking and field trips all of which will engage the children's interest and enthusiasm.
