Yee Haw - Weeeeeerrrrre Back!
OK, here's the deal for the end of 2007...
August: Went out to Miller and rounded out the USGPRU 250GP Western Regional
Championship with a 2nd place finish from a 3rd in the race. Both Ferris bros topped the podium with Kyle being a nice brother
and not passing Ryan. Looks like its gonna be a tougher league for a while!
September: Kick ass!! Möbius Racing
made the podium for WSMC's famous annual Roadracing World 250/50, with a fantastic second place finish! Don't bother asking
how that happened, but all I know is I'm on the podium w/ Rich Oliver!!
November: Finished up the WSMC streets series
with a win and the class championship. Nice; now I get to go to Oliver's school for free. Whoo hoo.
Then, I get laid
off and racing goes on hiatus....
December: Found a better gig. Rock! Insurance is back on and so are preparations
for 2008.
Jan/Feb: Not too much happening. Skipped WSMC in lieu of preparing the bike and myself. Plus, the new job
is kicking my ass!
March: Rolled out to Phoenix and bagged a win for USGPRU round 1. Yeeehaw! OK, I got a bit of
a gift when Lil Ferris decided to run the last corner wide; went off in the dirt; and shot himself up out of the seat. I
pinned it and beat him to the line. Nice!

News:
7/18/07
So far the '07 season has gone OK. We started out at Phoenix with a 2nd and have continued this trend at the USGPRU
rounds at Streets of Willow and Las Vegas. Unfortunately, feeling good in the race this past weekend at Portland, I
binned it coming off the last corner. Nuts! I was trying to keep up with Ferris going onto the front straight
- he was really getting great drives. I think I need to work on getting the rear end to stay hooked up a little better
since this thing always feels like it wants to highside me to the moon when I go to pickup the throttle. Ack.
Anywho, it was good to be up and really fighting for the win again. We had a fast group with both Ferris bros. and Fast
Eddie Brunet, down from the Great White North for his out of region round. We were running consistent 1:11's which
I believe is faster than I've gone there before, so we will take some positives and try and get the bike back together
for Miller. It sure would be nice to have the HP advantage again!
We are also currently leading the WSMC Streets Series 250GP class and looking to stay on top of this and win that free
Rich Oliver Mystery School!

As it would be completely remiss to pass the entire 2006 year without a single update, Möbius Racing would like
to wish all of our loyal fans and supporters a very happy holiday season and we look forward to the New Year! We have
now officially concluded the 2006 racing season and can confidently say that the lack of updates is driven in large part by
the absence of much in the way of positive news. It was a quite difficult season this year, marked by several crashes
and mechanical issues and highlighted by the all-too-sudden passing of our good friend and great competitor Jesus Amezcua
during the Roadracing World 250/50. The shock and sadness was only hightened due to our involvement in this incident,
even if it was only peripheral.
But, like all true two-wheeled-warriors, we will continue our march! 2007 is almost here and the team is looking
forward to the new season with renewed vigour. The intention is to again contest the USGPRU 250GP National Championship
with selected WSMC and AFM events thown in for good measure as resource permits. Furthermore, we also intend to return
to more regular updates so stay tuned, we are back!

First, HUGE apologies for the delay in updating the site. Rest assured that
the delay is due in part because we have been quite busy bringing an exciting end to our season, so be sure to catch
the story in the race reports! We are also a 'man-down' of late as our Team Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Alison,
is currently on a world tour and unable to provide her normal preparatory assistance.

Proving its never too late for the great folks that sponsor us to help out, we welcome our newest supporter, SIDI boots,
care of Motonation. A recent boot failure by Brand T opened the door for the fine Italian craftsmanship of
SIDI as only can be delivered by Motonation. Check out their link on our sponsor page!

Happy Independence day! Babbington is back; the season is in full swing; and Vince stirs up some controversy.
Read all the details in the Thunderhill and PIR race reports!

Babbington Thistlebottom Trusslenump IV, Team Möbius' own showtime narrator, was admitted to the hospital today with
a severe case of the piles. We'll keep you posted on his progress.

Welcome to our newest sponsors, Motul!!
Motul is known throughout the world for their high-quality lubricants, oils, and chemicals. From the MotoGP paddock
to your garage, Motul is the name you can count on to ensure your bike runs at top performance!

Welcome to our two newest sponsors, Shoei Safety Helmets and Sharkskinz Racing Bodies!!
Shoei Helmets is well known in the industry as the manufacturers of the best helmets available to the racing community.
They employ only the highest technologies and constantly refine their designs to improve comfort, function and performance.
The Möbius Team is very happy to have Shoei support us this year as, reluctantly,
we must admit we hit our heads alot!!
Sharkskinz Racing Bodies are the racers choice for tough, durable, long-lasting and high-quality aftermarket bodywork
for a huge range of bikes. As one of the few US companies to supply the Grand Prix community with their awesome products,
Sharkskinz has demonstrated their commitment to racing....as if the strength of their bodywork hadn't already!

Well, due to the recent bang-up out in Vegas, the TZ was in need of a little TLC on the bodywork front. After getting
some new stuff to replace the disintegrated pieces, we went up to see Mike Lytle at NSP Paint Concepts. Big thanks go
out to Mike for being able to quickly turn around the fabulous new paint job. A slightly more 'racer-friendly' scheme
of jet black was adopted. Although the stars 'n stripes was definately appealing, it is a relatively laborious scheme
to maintain - at least until we land that elusive factory ride! Readers are encouraged to ring up Mike at mailto:mjlytle@mindspring.com for a quote on his great services!!
