I'm a graduate student in the math department of the CUNY Graduate Center. I'm interested in analysis and its application to tomography. I also have a part time programming job in an area which is somewhat related to these fields.

Education:
CUNY Graduate Center, PhD Mathematics, In Progress
Polytechnic Univeristy, BS Mathematics, 2002
Minor Concentrations: Computer Science, Chemistry

Work History:
Software Engineer, DiamondWare, Mesa Az, Summer 2002
Developed software components for generating various types of signals, and performing frequency and amplitude modulation of the signals. Also developed components for filtering unwanted frequencies out of signals. Produced documentation for all code written. (Visual C++ in Windows NT).

Research Assistant, CUNY Graduate Center, New York, NY, Fall 2003 - Summer 2004
Wrote programs to verify theorems and test conjectures for a math professor. The theorems and conjectures were related to lattice point counting problems. Computed several probability distributions and saw they resembled a normal distribution. Used C programming language (Watcom C++ in MSDOS).

Adjunct Instructor, Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York, NY, Fall 2004 - Spring 2008
Taught various math courses, including precalculus, basic algebra, basic statistics, and discrete mathematics.

Programmer - Open9 Design - Summer 2008 - Present
Assisting senior programmer in developing software components related to speech processing. Languages used: Python/C++, environment: Linux.
