I Always Wear My Blue Blockers

Blogger Buzz ("The Official Buzz from Blogger at Google") on an improvement to Adsense:

This should definitely improve monetization for those of you using AdSense on your blogs...

Or an increase in the use of AdBlock which OTD highly endorses. AdBlock is a free plugin for Mozilla Firefox that wipes the ads and works like a charm. You won't believe how clean a page can look. This New York Times article asks at what cost?

A note to Blogger members, which my man Rob L. from The Center For Halting the Activities of Robots and The Man (CHARM) pointed out to me some time ago: Logging onto Blogger keeps you logged onto Google and Google maintains a record of searches under your login. Look for "Web History" in your Google account. There you can elect to purge and pause Google's personalized collection.

Reef rips Plato at Scribble Jam 2006. Perhaps Plato should have gone to his dialectical style.

The Hardcore is Back!

Welcome, dear reader. Tired of elephant-sedating folk and electronica music? OTD has heard your call! The hardcore is back! Become one with the hardcore!

This one goes out to BeK. It's not a Mets post but this song by Project Polaroid has a Mets line.

Post-Script

Don't put too much stock in Wednesday's New York Post football preview. While Steve Serby predicts the wins and losses for each team, the wins add up to 258; the losses add up to 254. Nice job, Steve!
