KIRTON AND MARKLAND FAMILY MEMBERS

Hello Family,

Can you believe that it has already been one full year since we got together for our Kirton/Markland Family Reunion in Hampton, Virginia.  The reunion participation was outstanding and it was a beautiful thing to see everyone enjoying each other’s company and having such a great time. We are very fortunate to be able to come together as a family and be afforded the chance to have and keep each other in thought, spirit and memory. This is something we don’t want  ever lose and it is extremely important that we continue to set the tone for our children so that they may also develop the bond and continue to share and support one another for generations to come.

So, with that said; it’s time again to start thinking about our next Family Reunion and this time we would like to have your input. We are beginning to plan for the next reunion to take place in the year 2011 which will allow all of us time to prepare and plan accordingly.  The wonderful news is we will be communicating with each other directly and thanks to Uncle Ken (Willie “CP” Kendrick) we now have a website. http://www.wcpkendrick.com Click on "KIRTON~MARKLAND 2011 - FAMILY REUNION".  This time we want to talk it over with you and hear your ideas, suggestions and your comments regarding our last reunion (positive and negatives).

We are asking that you take the time to print this form and complete this survey which basically list four (4) options for the next family reunion location/activity. The survey is being conducted to gain an idea of what you would like to do, where you would like to have the reunion and what suggestions you would offer toward the event.  Please include additional comments in the space provided and feel free to contact us directly as you wish. The next reunion location will be determined by the majority vote, we think that is fair; do you agree?

The Website: Through usage of the website, the goal is to do as much as possible right online and eliminate the paper process. The website will allow everyone to see the survey results and other communication from family members on a real time basis. Now, we understand that everyone does not have access and may not be computer savvy; that’s fine we will work with you directly through your preferred method of communication.

We are excited about the opportunity to plan another reunion and we pray that everyone is willing and ready to partake actively in this wonderful affair. We look forward to your feedback soon.
