Dear Parents and Students,
If Woodfield is closed
due to the H1N1 Virus, please complete the following lesson (s) for each subject area.
To assist you, as a team we have set-up the following checklist:
1. On the first day of the school closure, please visit the Woodfield ES website and go to the fifth grade web page and click on
H1N1 folder.
2. Complete work in section of binder for emergency
plans if school is closed due to the H1N1 virus.
3. Keep completed work in your binder until we
return back to school.
Please note that the lessons will be marked for the day(s) we are
out. Example: Day 1, Day 2, etc.

Reading:
Day one: Time For Kids-
- 1. Read feature article pages 4-5 Hunt for the Python and complete 2 BCRs.
- Go to Studyisland.com click on Reading, section 4 complete lesson (a).
- Capitialization worksheet
- Read for 20 minutes.
Day 2:
- TFK- finish reading remaining articles and complete worksheets in H1N1 section of binder.
- Studyisland.com-Reading section 4, lesson (C).
- Adjectives worksheet : sentences 1-7
Day 3:
- TFK- complete TFK quiz in binder and use magazine for a resources when answering quetstions.
- Studyisland.com Reading Section 4- lesson (D)
- Adjectives worksheet- sentences 8-14.
Science:
Day #1: Studyisland.com click on Science and complete the Pre-test.
Day #2: Studyisland.com click on Science and complete Physics- lesson A and enjoy the games the go along with
it.
Math: For all levels
Day #1: Studyisland.com go to Knowledge of Number Relationships, lesson A

Math 5: See packet in binder: complete Day 1
