Classes
Level 1 Mat
Level 1 Mat is the best place to begin for those just starting Pilates as it is tailoredfor beginners. After attending roughly 10 classes, most individuals are able to perform the exercises efficiently and have established sufficient muscle memory to allow them advance comfortably to the next level.
Open Mat
Open Mat is slightly more advanced and is ideal for those who have taken at least 10 or more Level 1 Mat classes. Light weights and Pilates Circles are included to increase class difficulty and add variety.
Tower Class
Tower Class consists of 30 minutes of mat work along with 30 minutes of Tower apparatus training.
Group Reformer
This one hour class consists of 30 minutes on the Pilates Reformer and 30 minutes of clssical mat work.
Pilates Boot Camp
Pilates Boot Camp offers a higher level of mat work. This one hour session also includes a variety of apparatus training, hand weights, barrels, balls (weighted, yoga, and physio), bands, foam rollers, and Pilates Cirles.
Cardio Interval Stepper/Pilates
Mini-Stepper Pilates Interval challenges individuals in a new way. This one hour session involves 5 minute intervals of cardio on mini-steppers using light weights, and five minute intervals of pilates mat work.
Total Fitness Pilates
A one hour workout that strengthens and tones the body via intervals of cardio, weights, and pilates.
Beginner Yoga
Introduces new students to the fundamental principles of alignment and breath in the basic standing poses. Emphasis is typically on opening and strengthening the shoulders, back and legs.
Continuing Yoga
Ideal for students who have completed Beginner Yoga. Emphasis is typically on refining Beginner Yoga poses while introducing variations and seated poses.
Vinyasa Yoga
Traditional yoga moves that focus on strength and flexibility in a flowing format.
Tai Chi
Soft and slow unhurried movements taught in a class setting that helps relieve tense muscles and lubricate the joints. Mental concentration and deep breathing generate an inner energy flow throughout the body. An ideal class for improving physical and overall fitness. It does not require equipment and does not involve physical contact.
Flirty Girl
When flirty, fabulous dance meets choreography with a strength-driven purpose; the result is a FUN, effective way to condition the entire body inside and out! The Flirty Girl Fitness Program created by women for women works the entire body targeting specific muscle groups while maintaining super fun, non-stop cardio-dance moves. Using the easy to learn Flirty Girl Foundation Moves, participants will quickly "own" the movement and experience the fabulous feeling that dancing gives you, while reaping the benefits of strength and cardiovascular exercise all in one class!
