Alesha Smith
holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance from Azusa Pacific University (Los Angeles, CA) and a Masters of Music
Degree in Violin and Viola Performance from Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA). She
currently maintains a private teaching studio of 30 violin and viola students, performs as a violinist and violist with the
Wheeling Symphony, and is actively involved in the worship and music ministry department at her church.
As an active
performer, Mrs. Smith has extensive experience as a chamber and orchestral musician, including performances as a principal
member of the YMF Debut Orchestra in Los Angeles and as a collaborative artist with the Chord String and APU Faculty Quartets in Shanghai,
Beijing, and Los Angeles. In addition, she has held numerous principal positions
both in violin and viola in ensembles across the country, can be heard on several recordings, and is trained extensively as
a Suzuki Violin teacher. Her principal teachers include Charles and Rachel Stegeman,
Timothy Durbin, and Ruth Meints (violin) and Randy Kelly and Robert Becker (viola).

Violinist
Christina Crivelli is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She received her degree in Music Education
with a concentration in Violin from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she studied with Dr. Stanley Chepaitis.
Christina performs as a first violinist with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic Orchestra and currently works as the assistant
conductor of the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic String Ensemble and teaches a violin/viola lesson studio. She has recorded
with several local artists and performed on stage with country singer LeAnn Rimes.

| Erika Pierce - Viola |
Erika Pierce
Violist
Erika Pierce received her Bachelor's Degree from Oberlin College where she studied Viola performance,
and acheived her Masters Degree from Chatham College. She currently teaches Violin/Viola at Seton Center, the
Glen Montessori School, Sweetwater Center for the Arts, is the viola coach for the Pittsburgh Youth Pops Orchestra, and the
director of the Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic String Ensemble. Erika was a National Solo Competition Semi-Finalist
in 1992, and has held numerous principal Viola positions. She has played under the direction of Leonard Slatkin, David
Lobel, and Kirk Muspratt. Erika has studied with Thomas Dunn and Jeff Irvine and is currently the Principal Violist of the
Pittsburgh Philharmonic.

Erin Snyder
Cellist
Erin Snyder studied cello performance at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh where she studied under Anne-Martindale
Williams and has performed around the world including New York City's Carnegie Hall. She is currently the principal cellist
of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic and has also performed with the Westmoreland and Altoona Symphonies. Erin also enjoys
teaching cello and has maintaned a private studio for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in jazz,
bluegrass, rock and country and has been featured in over fifty studio recordings.
