Welcome to Jemeena's home on the web!

Jemeena is a Middle Eastern dancer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She teaches weekly classes and perform at events throughout the region. Jemeena has been dancing since she was a child.  Her mother was a professional dancer who owned and operated a dance studio where she spent much of her time.  Jemeena's first public performance was at the Three River's Arts Festival in Pittsburgh when she was 6 years old.  She danced on the main stage and was immediately hooked.  A lifetime of performances as a singer, actor and dancer followed. 

Jemeena fell in love with belly dance many years ago after seeing a tribal troupe performance at that very same arts festival.  She has studied with  many skilled and respected teachers and would like to share her love of this dance form with you.
