will read at Poetry Ink; A Celebration of Poetry with 100 Poets Reading at Robin's Bookstore's 10th Anniversity Event.Started as a poetry benefit for Robin's Bookstore in 1996 by Eleanor Wilner
and friends, this has become a favorite program. Six hours of poetry that includes poets in all their variety: academic
poets, famous poets, free form poets, street poets, unknown poets, haiku poets, spoken word poets,published poets, unpublished

the medical establishment is hip to the urgency and creative vision of Octavia McBride-Ahebee's poetry. Look for

April 23, 2005-Octavia McBride-Ahebee will speak
at Emmanuel Temple, in Kennett Square, PA at 12:00 noon. Sponsored by the Missionary Department of Emmanuel Temple,
McBride-Ahebee will address the event's theme;Women of Purpose. She will read from her collection of poetry, Assuming
Voices. Other speakers will include Ingrid Johnson, Cassandra Graves, Yolanda Thomas and Portia Kamara. Emmanuel

be the guest speaker for a Women's History Month celebration, sponsored by two women's clubs in Toledo, Ohio. The
Study Hour Club and Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. have arranged for a series of readings for McBride-Ahebee in the Toledo
