Comparing the boys
Okay I know I shouldn't, and it drives me crazy when other people compare them, cause they're two different babies, but
I sometimes find myself thinking "Chris does this... why doesn't Dom?"
Chris laughs more than Dom. Dom gives kisses and Chris doesn't. Chris has discovered he can screech and does it ALL THE
TIME, Dom doesn't talk nearly as much (although he will if Chris is in another room, so maybe he just can't get a word in
edgewise). Dom is better with solids than Chris, he eats easier and neater (he wipes his face with his bib! LOL).
I just think it's funny how they're such different little guys. Dom's temperament is totally different than Chris's.
Dom is more quiet, he doesn't talk or smile as often as Chris (Robert attributes this to Dom's hospitalization in January
for RSV & pneumonia, but I think it's just him), he seems more thoughtful, and deliberate about what he does. He's figured
out how to turn the crib aquarium on and off, and how to pull on the bouncy seat toys so that they make noises. Chris is a
little nutter, he is always acting crazy, yelling and kicking and laughing. He is more cheerful but seems to follow Dom's
lead: he won't eat his solids until he's seen Dom have a few spoonfuls and seen that Dom likes it. I think Dom is going to
be the brains of the operation, and Chris will be the point man LOL

Little monkeys
The boys think it's HILARIOUS when Mom calls them monkeys, especially Chris, he laughs his little head off. They will
be 6 months old on Monday, and they have their 6 month appointment then so I'll post their new weights and lengths Monday
evening sometime. They are wearing size 6-9 months and are very long (considering that they were 6 weeks premature). They
feel heavy to Mom! We just bought them convertible carseats. They actually should have been out of their infant seats several
weeks ago but since we rarely go anywhere, I pushed it a bit until we got our minivan. Getting twins in and out of a two-door
Chevy Cavalier was a right pain in the butt!
They are both rolling fools - every time I lay them down (including diaper changes!) they roll over. After a few minutes
on their tummy they get upset, but they seem to have forgotten that they can roll front to back also. They are totally into
Baby Einstein's language nursery and would watch it all day if they could. I try to restrict them to one viewing a day, but
their Dada has been known to let them watch it three or four times a day, sometimes twice in a row.
We're hoping to go up and visit Auntie Katie and Uncle Mike at the end of this month during spring break (Mom is in graduate
school!). I have several new pictures to post, and I think I may revamp the picture structure and just upload the photos to
an online photo album and put a link here. Saves space on the webpage, I'm running a bit low and I have tons of photos to
share! I'm very compulsive with the digital cam ;)
