Dominic watched Chris up on all fours last night, and then he did it too! I got a picture of him this morning on his
hands & knees, it's at the bottom of the April photos page. Won't be long now before they're crawling!
Dom sings in the car. It's so funny. When he hears the music, he starts singing. Especially Tori Amos, he likes her.
We have a new stroller, made by Eddie Bauer, which they like much better than the Duoglide because the front seat reverses
so they can look at each other. If I leave the front seat facing forward, whoever sits in back kicks the seat of the one in
front. The stroller is heavier and harder to maneuver, but they like it better cause the seats can recline, the cushioning
is softer, and it has shocks so they get a smoother ride. It has a parent tray (cupholder for mom!) which I like. And it hasn't
been dropped out of the back of the van on Portsmouth Blvd like the Duoglide had *hehehe*
Chris got up on his hands and knees! He's wobbly but he did it! He's been trying for days, finally did it last night!
I got a picture of him, it's at the bottom of the April photos page. Yay Chris!
New tricks for the boys:
They both scoot backwards on their tummy. They kick their legs and push up on straight arms or get up on their knees
but not at the same time. Probably won't be long before they get up on hands and knees. Guess I should start baby-proofing!
They both like to "fly" when you hold them up in the air. They think it's hilarious when I tell them they're monkey-butts.
They both blow raspberries a lot and chatter at each other. They roll over in unison if you lay them next to each other.
Chris sticks out his tongue. He's like a baby Gene Simmons from KISS. He thinks it's funny to shriek in an ear-splitting
voice too. He laughs and smiles a lot, he's a funny little bug. He wipes food all over his face when he eats.
Dom rolls both ways (Chris only rolls back to front) and will roll over and over across the room. He stands up good if
you hold his hands. He's a very neat eater but he likes to help hold the spoon and it's hard to get it back cause he has an
iron-man grip. He's getting pretty good drinking water from a sippy cup.
So far they've tried: sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, squash, bananas, pears, and apples. Next is peaches. They eat
a ton of cereal, rice cereal if it's mixed with fruit, and oatmeal. For dinner they'll have 2 jars of veggies, a jar of fruit,
a cup of rice cereal, and a half cup of oatmeal between them. Piglets!
We've been going on walks around the neighborhood now that it's warm out. They love their new stroller (Eddie Bauer with
reversible front seat) cause they can look at each other.
