Size 12 months!
Well I packed up the last of the size 6-9, they are wearing size 12 months and 18 months, depending on the manufacturer.
They are growing waaaaay too fast!
Added new photos to the May photos page today.

New look for website
I changed the look of the site. I think I like this one, it's kind of nice. That red one was getting old. I also added
a page with SCA pictures and information (accessible through the "Family" link).
Nothing much new to report with the boys. Same stuff going on: rocking on all fours but no crawling, not much interest
in sitting, in love with Baby Einstein, eating like piglets. They've been difficult nappers the last two days though.

New pictures added to May Photos page
Well I discovered that it's not that the boys can't sit up, it's that they can't be bothered to
sit up. I bought them stacking rings, sat Chris up in front of them, and he stayed sitting up for a couple of minutes. Dom
sat up for about a minute with the rings, then knocked them over and got on his belly to play with them. So I think they're
just too lazy. I bought a LeapStart learning table for them to play with sitting up, but it's a little tall for them. So I
took the legs off, and hopefully they'll decide it's a fun toy and want to play with it when I put the legs back on. They're
8.5 months old now, 7 months adjusted. I think they're going to figure out crawling before they decide sitting is a worthwhile
activity. Lazy little devils.
Dom is a messy eater now, and Chris isn't too bad. They've slowed down their eating so I guess they were having a growth
spurt. Still getting up at midnight and 4am usually, going to bed around 8pm. One of them will often get up at 10pm too. I
really wish they'd decide to sleep long stretches. No teeth yet either, but they chew on everything they can get their hands
on. They talk a lot, both are doing "momomom" and "dududud" sounds. Dom prefers the "m" consonant and Chris prefers the "d"
right now. They also do "yah" and "yuh", and lots of vowels. Our next pediatrician appointment is on June 9th for their 9
month well-baby visit. They were gaining about a half a pound per week (Dom weighed 15#3 at his 6 month, and 17#2 four weeks
later when we went in for a follow-up on his ear infections). So I figure they'll be around 19 pounds each and maybe 28 inches.

Chris's new trick (and new pictures!)
Put up a few new pictures on the May page.
Chris now bounces while he's up on all fours. He can move a little bit forward that way. He also gets up on flat feet
and hands in the Downward-Facing Dog position from yoga *hahaha* it's so funny to see his little butt up in the air.
Dominic gave me a kiss this evening and burped on my cheek while he did it. They still laugh at each other's burps and
farts. Probably a bad sign!
They are eating a ton. Less formula but not by much. For breakfast they split two 4oz jars of fruit and a third of a
cup of oatmeal (they love oatmeal, especially Dom. Dom doesn't feel like he's finished eating unless he's had oatmeal). For
lunch they have two 4oz veggies and a 4oz fruit, then another bowl of oatmeal. At dinner they eat a 4oz meat/veggie combo,
one or two 4oz veggies, a 4oz fruit, and usually 2/3 cup of oatmeal. An hour after they eat jar food meals they eat a 6 or 7
ounce bottle. At night they still get up and have bottles. Over the whole day they each eat about 30 to 35 ounces of formula.
They must have hollow legs!

8 months old!
They get up on all fours all the time now and rock back and forth. Robert thinks they'll be crawling by the end of the
month. They have the Disney Babies pop-up toy all figured out, they can make all of them open except the Mickey Mouse-shaped
handle (there's a picture of them playing with it in the May photos).
We went and got photos taken on May 5 (a few are posted). The photographer said they should be models. Dominic kept trying
to lick the props though. He's very talkative lately, he's always jabbering. Christian has decided that whatever toy Dom is
playing with is the one he wants, even if it's exactly the same thing. They also both enjoy hitting each other with their
toys. Chris loves the tv clickers, he's always trying to get at them and chew on them and pat them.
