I think Chris has an ear infection. We're going to Dr Curry tomorrow morning to get him checked. He's been sleeping badly, acting very fussy, and tugging at his ear. Dom was fiddling with his ear a bit tonight, so I might ask her to take a quick peek at his right ear also.

 

The boys are getting REALLY good at crawling, they're all over the place now. The only time they hold still is to watch Baby Einstein for a few minutes. They are eating more "people" foods now that they're able to swallow chunks a little better (finally figured out how to mash in their gums, and move food around with their tongues). Canned green beans and peaches so far, I bought a few more canned veggies and fruits to try out. They had a grilled cheese sandwich at Applebee's yesterday and LOVED it, especially Dom, he just munched it right up. Chris enjoyed eating some of Dad's mashed potatoes.

 

Update on me... My blood pressure is still high. I am almost certainly looking at going on hypertension meds in August. Sucks!

Apparently Chris can't handle barley cereal, which is too bad because he loves it. But he was up all night screaming this week, and was fine last night after two doses of Mylanta. Sleeping good today with no barley in his tummy. Poor little guy. So that's two foods Chris can't eat: apricots and barley. Maybe when he's older he'll be able to handle them.

Chris is army-crawling, and occasionally moving a little bit forward in a real crawling position. Dom took two paces forward in a real crawling position today. Yay! It's about time, they've been up on all fours rocking and and doing Downward-Facing Dog for like 6 weeks now.

We went up Friday night to my sister's place in Maryland, came back Monday night. Robert went up with us on Friday but came home on Saturday evening (he had to work). On the way up, we had dinner at IHOP and the boys had their first french fry. They seemed to enjoy it! We had a really good time with Katie. The boys love their Auntie! We had dinner at TGIFriday's on Saturday, Katie is a cook there. Dom was being a show-off and kept giving me kisses.

 

I just put up a bunch of pictures for June, and redid the Family page now that Katie is divorcing Mike, so no more pictures of the cheating he-whore on this site!

 

Before we left, we took the boys swimming at the YMCA. They loved it! Especially Chris, he was kicking and splashing. They are going to be water babies just like Mommy!
