Great-grandpa Foley died last night. So here's a short obituary by Mom.
James Leo Patrick Foley, born April 29 1923, died September 14 2005 following kidney surgery. Jim is survived by
his wife of nearly 58 years, Maryalice, their five daughters, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and his three
sisters and five brothers. Jim was a veteran of World War II.
Lots of news to post since the last update. Tons of new pictures in the September Photos page.
The boys 12-month checkup was on the 8th. Christian weighs 21lb4oz and is 30.75" tall. Dominic weighs 21lb2oz and is
31" tall. They did okay with their shots but Dom had a complete meltdown getting his ears cleaned enough for the nurse practitioner
to see his eardrums. They are very waxy little boys.
Their party was on the 10th. It was attended by: Aunt Jeanie (actually Nana's cousin), great-aunt Megan, great-aunt Susan,
great-great-aunt Terry, Auntie Katie, Nana, Morgan (mom's cousin), Anthony (Jeanie's son) and his friend Devon, and mom and
dad. We got lots of wonderful presents from everyone. The boys love all their new toys and clothes (well, Mom loves their
new clothes). Thank you everyone!
Nana came out from Utah to visit from the 7th-14th. We had a lot of fun, the boys love their Nana! Auntie Katie
came down from Maryland to visit for the weekend and went home on the 13th. We love Auntie Katie too. The boys miss the Nana
and their Auntie. Uncle David and cousin Gage called us to say hi and happy birthday. Auntie Annie sent a present and card
out, which surprised Mom greatly as Auntie Annie has never acknowledged the boys before. No one from Dad's family noticed
the birthday, which did not surprise either Mom or Dad. Oh and nothing from Mom's bio father, also not surprising.
We went to the pool with Nana, and Dominic loved swimming! He was ready to go and even put his face in the water. We
went to Sandbridge with Nana, Great-Auntie Megan, and Auntie Katie. Chris loves crawling on the sand. Then we went to the
Virginia Beach oceanfront with Nana, and Chris was able to crawl right up to the water. Dom wasn't as impressed by the beach,
he prefers the pool.
I can't believe they will be one on Wednesday! Crazy. Their party is on the 10th. I haven't gotten any RSVPs yet but
that's pretty typical of the fam. No new teeth yet. Both of them will walk a bit if you hold their hands and walk with them.
They seem to be levelling out their sleep when they only get 3 hours worth of naps. So I'm trying to curtail the lengthy naps.
Added a new page for September photos.
