Dominic was named for Mom's great-great-uncle, Dominic Bonner. During World War I in Ireland, Dominic Bonner and his
brother John were in a pub with a friend, and heard about a British train coming through carrying Irish conscripts who'd deserted
from the British Army and were being imprisoned in Northern Ireland. They decided (after a lot of beer) to go rescue them.
So they took their beer and went to the train station, where they stormed the train, yelling and making a racket. The British
guards handed over their guns without a fight and let the prisoners go. Everyone went back to the pub. Years later, Dominic
got a letter from the British government asking for the guns back. There's a plaque to them in the train station.
Dominic's middle name is after Dad's father, Grandpa Steinke.
